An Animated Character That Talks Back to Your Child, Face to Face
Living Avatars are animated characters that talk back. Your child makes a character in Leaflit Studio, or picks one already saved, then gives it a name, a personality and a voice. From then on the character appears on screen, listens when your child holds the talk button, answers out loud in its own voice, makes faces to match, and remembers what it was told last time.
It is the second step of putting on a show: a co-host, a sidekick or a rival with a face. The character can also be placed on a video call or in streaming software as a browser source, so it can appear in a show your child hosts. Your child can type to it as well as talk.
What you control: the site is locked to safe-for-work content when it is built, and that cannot be switched off on this domain. The personality is plain text you can read and change. Everything the character hears and says is listed on its page, so you can review a session afterward. A kill switch on the Live Deck takes it off air immediately. Talking to it uses tokens on the account you signed in with.

Frequently asked questions
What does my child make?
A character with a face, a voice and a personality that answers when spoken to. It can be a co-host, a sidekick or a rival for a show. The character's body is an animated model from Leaflit Studio, and its personality is whatever your child writes.
Is it safe for kids?
The site is locked to safe-for-work content when it is built, and that cannot be switched off on this domain. Only the family-appropriate tools are shipped. Conversations and anything the character overhears are kept on its page where you can read them.
What do I control as a parent?
The account it runs on, the personality text, and the off switch. The Live Deck has a kill switch that takes the character off air immediately. Everything the character hears and says is listed on its page, so you can review a session afterward.
Can it go on a show?
Yes. The Live Deck can put the character into a video call by invite link, or into streaming software as a browser source, or your child can share its stage tab. It listens through the microphone and answers in its voice.
Does my child need to type?
No. Your child holds the talk button and speaks, and the character answers out loud. Typing works too. Writing the personality is typed, so a grown-up may want to help with the first one.
